The effect of fillers on the fresh and hardened properties of 3D printed geopolymer lattices

This work analyzed the effect of particle fillers on rheology geopolymer-based inks and microstructure mechanical properties lattices fabricated by Direct Ink Writing subjected to different curing firing temperatures. Adding effectively improved printability pure geopolymer ink; ground filler was most effective. In particular, it increased yield strength storage modulus, speeded up recovery after extrusion expanded working window. The response did not increase with addition nor temperature time; at 80 ?°C for 1 day best compromise between time. influenced as a function temperature. Samples without had maximum 34 ?± ?3 ?MPa 300 ?°C, whereas those containing sand were damaged treatment; samples stable 1000 ?°C.
